Walden rests on a high glacial plain at the headwaters of the North Platte River, between Steamboat Springs and The Poudre River Canyon. Historically a favorite hunting area for the Ute Native American and now a sportsman's paradise.

Westside Motel & Mountain Cabin offers 16 rooms and 1 amazing mountain cabin! We fit your style with a friendly atmosphere! Best prices in town!!

"I have been coming to Walden for 25 years and never knew there was a Motel 1 block west of Main Street. My wife and I noticed a few new signs advertising the Westside Motel so we decided to try it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and off the Main Street. It was nice and quiet. The owner was friendly and the price was reasonable. We have found a new place to stay when we come to Walden." James from Greeley, Colorado.

Single rooms have king beds and some have kitchens. We also have rooms with 3 Queen beds or 4 beds and a kitchen. The family apartment has 5 beds and kitchen. All have: refrigerator, color televisions with cable.

The Mountain Cabin has 3 bedrooms and is 15 miles from Walden. The view is amazing! You can see Moose all year around. Walk into the mountain from the cabin to hunt as you are next to BLM Land. Meadow Creek Reservoir is close and is good for canoes, small sailboats and fishing. Please no smoking in the cabin.

Pets are welcomed at no additional charge. Your VIP will enjoy treats while you check-in. Ask about Doggie daycare if you are planning a day enjoying museums and other indoor activities. We also have space for your horse to stay with us, ask for details.

Walk to the town park, indoor swimming pool, and restaurants. 5 minutes to snowmobile trails! Hunt on 720 Acres of private property next to BLM land.
