Glenwood Canyon Resort, formally Rock Gardens Campground, is proud to announce the grand opening of our new Resort Cabins and Camper Cabins. Glenwood Canyon Resort has added luxury cabins to your options for accommodations in the Glenwood Springs area. These Resort Cabins feature a private bedroom, full bath, spacious sleeping loft, fully equipped kitchen, vaulted living room with sleeper sofa, dining area and a large deck with table and chairs, all in a spectacular setting. They sleep up to 6 people very comfortably. Every resort cabin is private and unique, each with its own theme. You'll appreciate and enjoy all the other little added amenities such as air conditioning, gas fireplace, TV, VCR, cable TV and wireless Internet available.

Our Camper Cabins are great for families who also enjoy cabin accommodations, but are watching their budget. These cabins sleep a family of four comfortably. You can bring your own bedding or if luggage space is tight you can rent linen from us. You'll discover the beauty of Glenwood Canyon right outside your cabin door.

If, however, there are true outdoorsmen in the group, Glenwood Canyon Resort can accommodate them too. New this year are our full hook up RV sites with water, electric, sewer, cable TV, and wireless Internet. These sites are great for the big rigs because they are on average about 28x60! As well we will continue to offer our smaller RV sites on the Colorado River. These sites have 30-50 amp electric, water and the use of our new dump station.

Looking for a place to bring scouts, youth group or a family reunion? Glenwood Canyon Resort loves groups. We have expanded our group tenting area with larger tent sites, a large group campfire ring and new grills for easier group cooking. All these accommodations come with use of our new bath house which includes hot showers, laundry room and game room. Our other tent sites, located on the Colorado River, are among some of the prettiest in the state. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit, with restrooms and showers nearby.

Once you have relaxed in the peaceful setting of Glenwood Canyon, many adventures await you. If you want to combine spectacular scenery and adventure, whitewater rafting is for you. Rock Gardens Rafting offers rafting on the Colorado River and the Roaring Fork River in Glenwood Springs. Our experienced guides will share their knowledge of the area and their love of the river with you and your family. We, at Rock Gardens Rafting, can help you determine what trips would be best for your group. You can chose from half day, full day, and multi-activity excursions through Glenwood Canyon. The Colorado River offers exciting whitewater rafting for all levels and ages.

If you prefer to stay on dry land we can help satisfy that sense of adventure too. We offer jeep tours leaving right from the campground that offer high alpine beauty and history of the area. For another day of adventure, stop by our office and rent a bicycle. As you ride out of our campground you will be connected with a 16 mile paved bike trail running through breath taking Glenwood Canyon along the Colorado River. You can choose to bike ride or drive down to the popular hike of Hanging Lake just five miles from Rock Gardens. Many more hiking and mountain biking trails can be found a short distance from our gates. If your group wants to take in the scenery by horseback, Rock Gardens can organize horseback riding for you. Ride atop the beautiful canyon through a family owned Ranch.

Summertime is not the only time to enjoy Glenwood Canyon Resort. These Resort Cabins are open year round with their quaint gas fireplaces and heat. There is nothing more pretty than the sandstone canyon walls sprinkled with white snow.

There is much to experience in the town of Glenwood Springs, just 1-1/2 miles west of Rock Gardens. In town you can enjoy the world's largest Hot Springs Pool. Another year round attraction just five minutes from the Resort is the Glenwood Caverns. The Caverns will guide you through a cave adventure you will not forget. In the summer time Glenwood Canyon Resort is surrounded by championship golf courses. Within a short drive you can find world-class golf courses designed by J. Moorish and Arnold Palmer. And in the winter time the Resort is surrounded by world class ski resorts with Vail and Aspen being less than an hour drive.

One can find an endless amount of year round possibilities here at Glenwood Canyon Resort in the heart of Glenwood Canyon. Our reservationists are here to help create that vacation to remember for years to come.
