Enjoy a horse ride

Open all year! On the quiet eastern shore of Vallecito Lake. Elk Point Lodge is nestled along the shores of Vallecito Lake where the Pine River flows into the Lake. Most of our cabins are waterfront and snuggled in tall pines. The cabins are cute, comfortable, clean and attractively furnished, some have fireplaces. The lodge's rec room is a great place to play table games, and gather with family and friends (a great meeting place for family reunions). The on-site general store has convenience groceries, gift items, fishing supplies, licenses, and more.

Your family will enjoy horseback riding with our professional guides from May through September. Offering 1 hour, 2 hour, 1/2 day, full day, breakfast and sunset dinner rides plus summer overnight pack trips into the adjoining San Juan National Forest.
