Beautiful Vintage 3 bedroom log cabin overlooking Lake Granby and the Continental Divide. This full log cabin is a one-level ranch-style vacation rental with some access for handicapped. Great for family gatherings. This cozy cabin is surrounded by many healthy lodge pole pines and natural vegetation. Located in a quiet setting, it's available for rental year round with easy access. Whether you're on the deck, or in the great room with a large brick wood-burning fireplace, you'll enjoy fantastic views of Lake Granby, Byer's Peak and the Continental Divide. Wildlife (moose, elk, and fox to name a few) can often be seen from our cabin as well. The Lighthouse Bedroom (Queen) and the Western Bedroom (Full) also have lake and mountain views. The Master bedroom (Queen) has wooded and Indian Peaks Wilderness views. (In the Great Room, there is also a queen sofa bed and 2 fold out cots.) Great fishing year round! We get lots of sunshine even in the winter. Lake Granby and Beacon Landing Marina (with its summer & ice fishing tackle shop & boat rentals) are a 3 minute walk from our cabin. There are 150 miles of ATVing and snowmobiling trails nearby in Arapaho National Recreation Area. We are just 5 miles south of Rocky Mountain National Park. The west entrance Kawuneeche Visitor Center stays open year round with programs and activities EVERY season. From our cabin you can walk from Lake Granby to the Fishing/Pumping Canal all the way to Shadow Mountain Reservoir. One can also hike or easily bicycle to the Town of Grand Lake from our cabin.
