APPLE VALLEY FARMSTEAD

Apple Valley Farmstead is a century old secluded five acre property one mile outside of Lyons. It is nestled in the foothills bordering the North St. Vrain River (fishing in your own back yard)! It is in the valley between Steamboat Mountain and Rattlesnake Ridge (never fear, no rattlesnakes seen on property for at least 38 years)! In its time it had been a small dairy farm and iris garden retail site. The farmstead is located on Apple Valley Road, which was the old road to Estes Park before the by-pass was built. so fortunately Apple Valley Road is now a "Road Less Traveled" and very beautiful. The farmstead is exquisitely landscaped with majestic old shade trees, Koi pond with waterfalls, picturesque old weathered barn and out buildings, as well as a tree house and picnic table riverside.
